Hold Powerful, Quiet Space to Support Women + note from our founder

Words from the founder:

“My most influential lady would by my mom. She has been the epitome of strength, endurance, integrity, in every avenue of my life. She has been the biggest coach, and influencer to start my business and obtain the level of education I have today. I have become the person I am today from my best friend. My mom. We didn’t always see eye to eye growing up, but she instilled in me the lady I would eventually become as my role of wife, mother, and grandmother. I love her so much every day and love our time together each and every day!”

How to Support Another Woman

If you stop walking and breathe, the full story of the journey begins to catch up with your mind. You can fully see and appreciate each moment as it surrounds you, standing quietly and still on the road. Looking back over your shoulder, the path behind you has valleys, rocks, and hidden snares, but you made it through all of them. You’re standing here, today, full of experience and a deep well of wisdom in your soul. As you inhale the pale morning air, can you recall the people who helped you along the way? Who were all those amazing women who held space for you? Opened their home, their heart, listened without judgment or bias when you really needed it?

You remember who she was. The friend, boss, colleague, sister, mom, who stuck by you through it all. And you exhale gratitude.

Now you have a chance to do the same for others. You’re ahead on the road where someone is just beginning the journey with her first step. You can help. Light a torch and hold it high so she can see there is a way through the dark.

In our day to day lives, there are always small ways to impact someone’s life for the better. Small ways are always the most important actions. When you adopt patience when the cashier is struggling with a technical error, you create peace for her. When you laugh instead of throwing hands in the air in frustration as the other driver starts into the lane just as you do, it breaks the tension. When you celebrate a teammate’s win without any mention of yourself, she is uplifted. Think of the positive energy you created and how those lives are expanded because of your choice to be the best version of yourself.

One of the many amazing things about women is that we are multi-faceted, passionate and skilled at many things. We innately are master timekeepers, productivity mavens, simultaneously nurturer and coach, and we keep families and workplaces moving forward. We have depth and insight and are in tune with our emotions that provide insights and clarity past cold data. It is important to stop on the path today and appreciate how far we’ve come as women. Link arms with your circle today, tell her how much she means to you and why. Speak life into her by sharing why she’s had an impact on your life. She will pass it on and together we can celebrate a more equal and empowered world.
